Serenity Stitch Co was born from our family’s personal journey. I’m Jessie, the founder, and I have always been passionate about mental health awareness, a value strengthened by my family’s experiences. My husband, Charlie, is a therapist so mental wellness has been a constant focus in our lives. However, it was our own challenges—including navigating diagnoses, overcoming stigma, and facing personal health struggles—that truly shaped this mission.

Navigating life for our neurodivergent son while facing intense judgement from strangers, family/friends and even professionals highlighted how much education and compassion is lacking in our community. As a society we have made strides, however there is a lot that needs to be done and we wanted to help end this stigma for mental health in a creative way. 

Through it all, one thing became clear: mental health conversations need to be louder, more open, and free from judgment. Inspired by this realization, I turned my passion into a business and a platform for change. I taught myself how to embroider, and the rest is history. Each item is created with intention—whether it’s a reminder to keep going, a symbol of community, or a simple affirmation that no one is alone in their struggles.
