Serenity Stitch Co began in the quiet, tender moments of motherhood. What started as a creative outlet slowly became something much deeper, a way to preserve meaningful memories, honor life’s tender seasons, and create keepsakes that will last as long as the memories.
As a mother, I’ve experienced both the beauty and the emotional depth that can come with motherhood. After welcoming our daughter, our family entered a season that asked us to grow in ways we never expected. Our son showed signs of sensory and behavioral challenges from a very young age, and after a long journey searching for answers, he was diagnosed with ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and giftedness. Around the same time, I was navigating postpartum mental health struggles, health complications, and the uncertainty that often accompanies early motherhood.
Those experiences shaped the heart behind Serenity Stitch Co.
They deepened my understanding of how many parents quietly carry worry, exhaustion, or feelings of isolation while still showing up every day with incredible love and strength. They also reminded me how meaningful it can be to feel seen, supported, and connected during tender seasons of life.
Mental wellness has always been deeply important in our home. My husband is a mental health therapist, and together we’ve witnessed the power of compassion, encouragement, and emotional safety. Serenity Stitch Co was created from that place, with the hope that every embroidered piece could offer a small sense of comfort, connection, and meaning to the families who receive them.
